Challenge
Creating quotes for custom home textile products required too much manual work because every model, measure and component variation affected the final consumption and bill of materials.
Solution
We built a custom Odoo workflow that tabulates product models, component sizes and consumption rules down to the centimeter, including the necessary personalization cases for commercial quoting.
Results
The Impact
The time needed to create a quote dropped to roughly one fiftieth of the previous workflow. Sales can generate a quote, immediate BOM and consumption calculation quickly enough for one person to manage the process at high efficiency.
